  The orangery, as architectural highlight of the garden, today serves as a popular setting for weddings and other major festivities such as concerts.
   
Obviously arising from a good mood count Carl Ludwig built the gnome gallery at the entrance of the castle parklands which shows caricatures of his household: from the chambermaid to the drummer and the privy counsellor.
